The Memphis Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (MHCC) is the leading regional advocate for the economic development interests of the Hispanic business community. MHCC is a non-profit organization and a member of the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
Utilizing a vast network of local and national resources, MHCC effectively addresses the needs of Hispanic businesses and partners with enterprises in both the public and private sectors. MHCC offers business development guidance to Hispanic individuals and companies as well as non-Hispanic organizations interested in developing market opportunities to address needs within the Hispanic community. To accomplish its mission, the Memphis Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (MHCC ):
- sponsors programs and events providing business development education;
- implements and strengthens local programs that foster the economic development of Hispanic businesses and businesses that address needs within the Hispanic community;
- provides networking opportunities for Hispanics and non-Hispanics to foster the development of business relationships and partnerships;
- provides technical assistance to MHCC member businesses and organizations;
- monitors legislation, policies and programs that affect the Hispanic business community;
- serves as an clearinghouse of information, resources and a promoter of interests related to the Hispanic Community both locally and nationwide;
- recruits talented community leaders with expertise relevant to the economic development of the Hispanic community.
